Dr. Gerald Tan
Dr Gerald Tan graduated in 1993 with the double degree of M.B.,B.S. from the prestigious National University of Singapore. He is a MOH accredited Family Physician with special interest in Regenerative Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. His expertise include Viscosupplementation for Osteoarthritic joints.
He has been treating osteoarthritis knees with gel injections for the past twelve years and is proficient in this procedure. He is also a trainer for this procedure, teaching other doctors the finer points of this treatment. In the area of Aesthetic Medicine, he has over 12 year’s experience (since 2007) with the use of ‘botox’ and filler injections and various face lift procedures. His expertise also covers various Laser treatments for both face pigmentation, scars, pores, acne and body sculpting. He is also well versed with the Fotona Laser Snore Reduction and Eyebag Reduction treatments.
He is one of the few doctors practising non-surgical Laser Vaginal Tightening which can help cases of urinary incontinence as well. He has experience with Hair Growth/Transplant procedures as well. His Regenerative Medicine experience also covers the area of Sports Medicine with the use of Platelet Rich Plasma to heal Acute Muscle Injuries.
A strong believer in Preventive Medicine, he has given numerous health care prevention talks to various companies and has written an e-book entitled "Medicine doesn’t cure the common flu, common sense does! How to prevent illnesses the non-medicine non-therapy way."
